Re: Using Stata’s random-number generators, part 1

Thanks for the very helpful explanation, William.
I am trying to build up "fake" dataset, using random generated variables. Of each variable I know:
1) number of observations
2) mean
3) std error
4) min and max values.
Do you know I can I ask STATA to randomly generate a variable with all those specified parameters?
